Pedestrian bridge over the Green River.		Dodson Associates, Ltd. developed plans, working drawings and specifications for the renovation of this neighborhood park in Greenfield, Massachusetts. The park was suffering from vandalism leading to disuse by the community at large. Plans were developed with extensive participation by the community, user groups and town staff. Dodson Associates developed a practical and imaginative plan for the renovation and beautification of the park within very limited time and budget constraints. Renovation elements include replacement of play equipment and play surfaces, restoration of a basketball court, parking lot, bridge, fencing and lighting. Recommendations for control of invasive vegetation along the Green River within the Park limits were also prepared for the client. The project was successfully bid in Fall of 1997 and construction was complete by Spring, 1998 with construction observation provided by Dodson Associates. The construction budget was $80,000.
