Sprague Mill: Proposed Hoosic River impoundment and central mixed use development area.

Dodson Associates worked with Williams College Museum of Art to create the original masterplan for MassMoCA, a proposed contemporary art museum to be located in a 750,000 s.f. historic mill complex in North Adams, Massachusetts. When completed, MassMoCA will be the world's largest contemporary art museum complex. Masterplanning for the museum consisted of site analysis, evaluation of site alternatives, traffic analysis, development of conceptual alternatives, study of building renovation, potential with architects and structural engineers, and preliminary illustrations of proposed concepts.
